Brooklyn Beans offers affordable high quality after school programming in PS 39 during the school year. Families have the option to sign up for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week from dismissal to 6 pm throughout the school year. Families can also sign up for a 10-Day Flex Pack which allows for any ten days of after school care throughout the school year. Our philosophy is to provide meaningful and engaging activities for our students each and every day, striving to create an environment where students can come after school and feel at home.

Emerging Curriculum

Our program adapts to the children’s varying interests. We believe in listening to children’s ideas and cultivating many of our programmatic options from suggestions we hear directly from children and their families.

Outdoor and Indoor Activity

Keeping children healthy and active is an integral part of our afternoon. We have daily use of the PS 39 playground and yard where kids alternate between group games and free play. We also take advantage of the spacious Camp Friendship Gym which allows for numerous gym games and free play.
