Amazing Athletes: Multi-Sport (FULL)

Tuesdays 3:15 -4:00 pm

Description: Through positive movement experiences with a focus on meeting their motor-development milestones, licensed instructors teach the fundamentals of at least three different sports in a non-competitive environment. They also incorporate lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy.

Description:  As budding ceramic artists, students will be working in both two and three-dimensional forms. Using a wide range of hand-building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab assembly to create free-standing objects and functional items (they can actually use!). All these projects are taken back to our studio and fired on our kiln. This class is sure to help mold your child's creativity!

Story Makers: Movies in Motion (FULL)

Description:   Story Makers: Movies in Motion invites Kindergarten and 1st grade students to explore storytelling through movement, play, and simple filmmaking tools. Children work together to imagine stories, create scenes using toys and props, and capture short moments on camera. The focus is on creativity, collaboration, and storytelling, with film used intentionally as a playful way to bring ideas to life.

Description:  We'll explore all kinds of printmaking methods in this fun and messy class! Think relief printmaking, collagraph stamps and monoprints, which we'll explore on paper, tote bags and t-shirts!

Description:  This ancient martial art provides physical fitness and self-defense in a fun and disciplined way. Each class focuses on strength, stamina, balance, and speed. Children build confidence, discipline, and self respect. Most importantly, students will use karate as a platform for personal growth and development.

Comics & Digital Animation 2nd - 4th with CinemaKidz

Description: Learn all about film shot composition, storyboarding, and visual storytelling by making your own comic book and digital animation! Students will improve drawing skills through staging and drafting of an original visual story concept they create on paper. Teachers work with students to help them understand how to use the landscape of each panel and page to create a dynamic story with a delicate balance of artwork and language. Next, the comic will be translated into a digital drawing, as kids learn to bring their comic to life using Procreate!

Description: Students will gain deeper knowledge as they encounter new components and tackle new projects each week. We’ll be building robots that light up, drive, wiggle, draw, spin, buzz, or do something else that the kids will love!
