Soccer: Park Slope United

Description: Park Slope United’s developmental program is the bridge between casual backyard kick-around and a future in competitive soccer.

Park Slope United's coaches are experts in soccer and youth development. They know just the training exercises to improve young players. Every player receives feedback and help tailored to their specific needs throughout the duration of a program. With skilled-based drills designed to increase on-field awareness, your little one will start their trek towards being one of the future soccer stars of NYC.

Description:  As budding ceramic artists, students will be working in both two and three-dimensional forms. Using a wide range of hand-building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab assembly to create free-standing objects and functional items (they can actually use!). All these projects are taken back to our studio and fired on our kiln. This class is sure to help mold your child's creativity!

Description:   Students will gain deeper knowledge as they encounter new components and tackle new projects each week.   • Enrichment classes are offered on-site during the after school day. Students enrolled in enrichments will separate from the general after school class and organize with their class for the duration of their specific enrichment. Enrichment classes are located in PS39 classrooms or at the Camp Friendship Gym. Following the class, students return to regular after school activities, including outdoor yard time and free play or organized games in PS39 classrooms. Afterschool hours with enrichments remain the same- 2:40-6:00PM.

    Enrichment classes are provided by local childhood enrichment specialists. Vendors include Park Slope United, Chess At Three, Private Picassos, and more. In addition to the specially trained enrichment providers, a Brooklyn Beans staff member, familiar with the students and space, will be overseeing to ensure all children’s needs are met.

    Enrichments are offered as an add-on with an additional fee. Separate registration is required. Enrichment classes are capped at 10-20 students per class. Enrollment is held on a first come, first served basis.

  • Enrichment classes are currently only offered to students registered for the After School Session. Please ensure the enrichment you are signing up for is on the same day your child is enrolled.

  • Cancellation requests submitted after registration closes for Winter Session will incur a fee according to the following schedule:

    • Prior to the week before the after-school session, enrichment classes can be canceled at no cost (free before 12/4/23).

    • 25% of the enrichment tuition will be forfeited if the cancellation request is submitted one week before or within the first week of the session, between 12/4/23 and 12/16/23.

    • 50% of the enrichment tuition will be forfeited if the cancellation request is submitted within the second week of the session, between 12/17/23 and 12/23/23.

    • 100% of the enrichment tuition will be forfeited if the cancellation request is submitted after the start of the third week of session, after 12/24/23.
