Description: Soccer with Park Slope United is all about movement, teamwork, and lots of time with the ball! Through games, drills, and friendly challenges, players will practice dribbling, passing, shooting, and other soccer fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment.

Description: As budding ceramic artists, students will be working in both two and three-dimensional forms. Using a wide range of hand-building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab assembly to create free-standing objects and functional items (they can actually use!). All these projects are taken back to our studio and fired on our kiln. This class is sure to help mold your child's creativity!

Description: Combine storytelling, design, and creativity through the art of diary making and scrapbooking. Students will create personalized journals filled with drawings, collages, photos, patterns, and meaningful keepsakes while exploring techniques in paper art, lettering, and mixed media. This class encourages self-expression, imagination, and the joy of preserving memories in a one-of-a-kind handmade creation.

Description: Brooklyn Dance will introduce students to dance foundations in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way. Throughout the 12 weeks, students will learn basic ballet, jazz, and hip-hop technique while developing coordination, musicality, rhythm, balance, flexibility, and confidence.
Brooklyn Dance’s goal is to create a positive environment where students can build foundational dance skills, develop confidence, and experience the joy of movement regardless of their prior dance experience!

We’ll be building robots that light up, drive, wiggle, draw, spin, buzz, or do something else that the kids will love! Description: Jungle Explorations takes young artists on a wild adventure through the rainforest! Students will discover the vibrant plants, animals, and habitats of the jungle while creating colorful two- and three-dimensional art projects. Through painting, collage, sculpture, and mixed-media activities, children will explore the beauty and diversity of the rainforest while building creativity, imagination, and artistic skills.

Description: Students will learn the foundations of cooking while making delicious and healthy meals. This class inspires self confidence and teaches life long skills. All students use kid-friendly cooking materials to ensure a safe experience!

Enrichment classes are offered on-site during the after school day. Students enrolled in enrichments will separate from the general after school class and organize with their class for the duration of their specific enrichment. Enrichment classes are located in PS39 classrooms or at the Camp Friendship Gym. Following the class, students return to regular after school activities, including outdoor yard time and free play or organized games in PS39 classrooms. Afterschool hours with enrichments remain the same- 2:40-6:00PM.
Enrichment classes are provided by local childhood enrichment specialists. Vendors include Park Slope United, Chess At Three, Private Picassos, and more. In addition to the specially trained enrichment providers, a Brooklyn Beans staff member, familiar with the students and space, will be overseeing to ensure all children’s needs are met.
Enrichments are offered as an add-on with an additional fee. Separate registration is required. Enrichment classes are capped at 10-20 students per class. Enrollment is held on a first come, first served basis.

Enrichment classes are currently only offered to students registered for the After School Session. Please ensure the enrichment you are signing up for is on the same day your child is enrolled.

Cancellation requests submitted after registration closes will incur a fee according to the following schedule:
Prior to the week before the after-school session, enrichment classes can be canceled at no cost .
25% of the enrichment tuition will be forfeited if the cancellation request is submitted one week before or within the first week of the session.
50% of the enrichment tuition will be forfeited if the cancellation request is submitted within the second week of the session.
100% of the enrichment tuition will be forfeited if the cancellation request is submitted after the start of the third week of session.
